Omry Blum

Omry Blum began their work experience in 2012 as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University, where they primarily focused on image processing for various research applications. Omry used Matlab to code automated tracking and image enhancement of objects, working with ultrasound, Xray, and RGB videos. In 2013, they transitioned to a Teaching Assistant role at the university, where they stayed until 2015. In 2014, Omry joined Nova Measuring Instruments as a Physicist/System Engineer and worked in that capacity until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Project Manager and System Technical Lead at Nova Measuring Instruments. Currently, Omry holds the position of Product Line Director at the same company, starting in September 2019.

Omry Blum received a Master of Science (MSc) in Bio-Medical Engineering with a specialization in Optical Nanoscopy and Interferometry from Tel Aviv University in the years 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Bio-Medical Engineering with a focus on Signals & Systems from the same university between 2010 and 2014. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications in Machine Learning with Python from edX and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2022 and 2021 respectively.
