Jean-Christophe Baillie

Jean-Christophe Baillie is a prominent figure in the fields of artificial intelligence and technology, currently serving as the Founder of Developmental Labs since September 2023, focusing on human-level AI by integrating deep learning and Developmental AI. As the Founder and Board Member of Novaquark since January 2014, Jean-Christophe has shaped the company's strategy and technology in online Virtual Reality. Jean-Christophe was also the Research Director and Strategic Advisor at Massa Labs from September 2022 to September 2023, leading research on blockchain technology. Previously, as the Chief Science Officer at SoftBank Robotics Europe, founder of the AI Lab, and CEO of Gostai, which was acquired by Softbank Robotics, Jean-Christophe demonstrated leadership in various innovative technology ventures. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision from Sony CSL and University of Paris 6, alongside engineering and master’s degrees from École Polytechnique and Pierre and Marie Curie University.
