Marc Kirkland

Marc Kirkland is a seasoned visual effects artist with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Lead Visual Effects Artist at Novaquark since January 2024, Kirkland previously held a similar role at Deep Silver Volition from November 2004 to August 2023, where notable projects included "Saints Row" and "Agents of Mayhem." Responsibilities included leading teams, creating VFX art direction, and developing particle systems in collaboration with technology groups. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Environment Artist and Outsourcing Manager, showcasing a comprehensive background in environment creation and team management. Earlier experience included modeling for commercial flight simulators at Frasca International, complementing a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Mount Mercy University.
