Klaus Moosmayer

Klaus Moosmayer currently serves as a Member of the Executive Committee and Chief Ethics, Risk and Compliance Officer at Novartis, where responsibilities include oversight of the Ethics, Risk and Compliance function since December 2018. Prior to this role, Klaus Moosmayer held various positions at Siemens from September 2000 to November 2018, including Chief Compliance Officer, where leadership of the global Compliance organization was a key responsibility, as well as roles such as Chief Counsel Compliance and Compliance Operating Officer. Earlier in the career, Klaus Moosmayer worked as a Rechtsanwalt at Law Firm Esser and served as an Army Officer (Reserve) with the Bundeswehr. Educational qualifications include a Board Director Diploma from IMD and multiple law degrees from The University of Freiburg and Oberlandesgericht Köln.
