Ted Koutouzis

Ted Koutouzis is a venture capitalist and physician. He is an analyst at Magnetar Capital and is the Managing Director at Reimagined Ventures.

Ted practices emergency medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. In addition, Dr. Koutouzis has worked at Magnetar Capital since 2006. For the first ten years he focused on risk arbitrage investments at the equity desk and later moved on to the fixed income team where he was responsible for the underwriting process for structured finance solutions across the life sciences. He is the Managing Director at Reimagined Ventures where he co-manages all healthcare investments.

Dr. Koutouzis graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Nutrition/Exercise Science and an MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He received his graduate degree in Emergency Medicine from Northwestern University.
