David King

David King has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2003. David began their career as a Member Technical Staff at Avaya in 2003, where they designed, coded, and maintained web applications using BEA's Java/J2EE technologies and FileNET's document management system. In 2004, they worked as a Java Developer for Level 3 Communications, and in 2005 they held the position of Sales Engineer at Silicon Plains Technologies. During this time, they also worked as a Project Manager at Integro Inc. In 2007, they moved to Avaya Communications as a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, and in 2009 they became an SIP Engineer at Arrow Electronics. In 2012, they took on the role of Social Business Solutions Architect at Meridian Group International, Inc., and in 2015 they became a Senior Technical Sales Engineer at Everbridge. Most recently, they have been working as an Application Engineer at NovaSparks since 2020.

David King obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration (Double Major) from Regis University between 1991 and 1996. David also holds a AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in July 2020. Additionally, they have certifications in IBM InfoSphere, IBM Sametime, IBM SmartCloud Notes Hybrid Configuration, IBM Sametime Unified Telephony, AudioCodes Certified Associate, IBM Notes Domino 8.5, and Cisco CCENT.
