Peter Dailey, EIT has six years of experience in the engineering field. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Project Manager at Dailey Construction, where they interfaced with clients and trained team members on appropriate equipment and tool handling, and co-designed and constructed an off-grid tiny home which was showcased at the Fresno Home and Garden Show. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at The Center for Nano-Micro Manufacturing, where they designed and fabricated test fixtures for lab equipment using SolidWorks, and assisted the team with drafting project proposals, technical documentation, and BOMs for lab upgrades. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at W. L. Gore & Associates, where they designed electrical diagrams and prototypes using AutoCAD and Solidworks, programmed control systems to test and run prototypes using C++, and developed detailed end-user documentation. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as an Automation Engineer at Banks Integration Group, where they designed relay and PLC control panels for automation, commissioned entire systems on customer sites, and provided post-commissioning production support. Peter also designed and programmed automation systems for process and industrial equipment using new and existing equipment and programs, including CompactLogix System, ControlLogix System, Panel Views, and RSLogix 500. Finally, from 2019 to present, they have worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Novate Solutions, Inc.
Peter Dailey, EIT holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. In April 2019, they were certified as an Engineer in Training (EIT) by the California Board of Professional Engineers.
