Research Engineer at Novateur Research Solutions

Yuxiao Z. has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2012. In 2012, they started as a Graduate Research Assistant at Jackson State University, where they researched and developed computer vision algorithms for crack detection from 2D pavement images. In 2016, they became an Innovation Engineer at Fugro, where they designed and developed new Computer Vision algorithms for a multi-sensor mobile road analyzing platform. In 2020, they joined Kapsch TrafficCom North America as a Software Engineer Image Processing, where they developed and implemented intelligent tolling systems using computer vision and machine learning. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Novateur Research Solutions as a Research Engineer.

Yuxiao Z. is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Texas State University. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Jackson State University between 2012 and 2015. Before that, they obtained a Master's degree from Shandong University between 2008 and 2011.
