Paula Fitzgerald, AICP, PMP

Paula Fitzgerald, AICP, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Paula is currently serving as the VP of Project Development at Novel Energy Solutions. Prior to this role, they held the position of Project Development Director at the same company.

Paula also worked as a Compliance Specialist at BIOSAR (PV Solar Dept of AKTOR S.A.) from 2016 to 2017.

Their tasks involved preparing entitlement applications, due diligence reports, specific plans, and coordinating schedules and budgets.

Paula started their career as the Director of Land and Resource Management at Douglas County in 2001. Paula oversaw the administration, organization, and personnel management of the department. Their responsibilities included managing growth and development within the county and formulating and enforcing policies and procedures.

In their early career, they worked as an Assistant Planning and Zoning Administrator at Le Sueur County from 2000 to 2001. Paula played a leadership role in the comprehensive planning process and handled all GIS operations.

Throughout their career, Paula has exhibited expertise in project development, compliance, land management, and planning. Their strong skill set and experience make their a valuable asset in the field.

Paula Fitzgerald, AICP, PMP, completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Studies with an emphasis on Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1994. Paula went on to earn a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from the same university in 2002. Prior to attending Minnesota State University, Mankato, Paula attended St. Cloud State University from 1988 to 1990, although details about the degree and field of study obtained during this time are not provided. In terms of additional certifications, Paula obtained the AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) certification in March 2006 and the PMP (Project Management Institute) certification in April 2018.
