Gianmatteo Martinelli

Gianmatteo Martinelli is an experienced professional who has held various leadership roles in project management, operations, engineering, sustainability, sales, and marketing. Currently working at Novelis since January 2005, Gianmatteo has served as Head CapEx Management, Head of Global Project Management Office, Director Operations and Engineering, Director Operations - Developments, Plant Manager, and more. Gianmatteo also worked at Rio Tinto Alcan as Manager Product Innovation and Manager Technical Customer Service. Gianmatteo studied Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and obtained a Ph.D. in Metallurgy from Politecnico di Torino. Currently, Gianmatteo serves as a production leader for Bresso coil coating lines and plant general services.
