Jens Tiefenstaedter

Jens Tiefenstaedter holds an MMA, MSc in IT, and MSc in Finance, with extensive experience in finance and transformation roles. As the Global Head of Finance Transformation at Novelis since January 2012, Jens has implemented an integrated planning tool to enhance company-wide planning processes. Prior positions at Novelis include Manager of Sustainability and FP&A for Metal, where Jens focused on compliance and optimizing purchasing activities. Previous experience at Sauer-Danfoss involved corporate controlling during a restructuring phase post-financial crisis, alongside establishing procurement reporting systems. Jens also provided consulting services for a startup and began a career in banking with Deutsche Bank. Educational accomplishments include multiple master's degrees in financial management and information technology from institutions like UC San Diego and Stiftung Universität Hildesheim.
