Marco Truss

Marco Truss has extensive work experience at Novelis and KPMG Audit. At Novelis, they held various roles including Vice President of Supply Chain and Finance, Finance Director of Novelis China, Senior Manager of Financial Projects, and Head of FP&A Department of Novelis South America. Marco was responsible for optimizing supply chain, setting digitalization roadmap, driving consistent EBITDA growth, and stabilizing financial functions. Marco also played a key role in expanding the company's footprint in China and implementing best practices in financial forecasting. Prior to joining Novelis, Marco worked as a Senior External Auditor at KPMG Audit.

Marco Truss has a diverse education background. In 1996-2001, they attended the University of Basel, where they earned a lic. rer. Pol degree in economics, with in-depth studies in Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, and Planning. In 2007, they obtained certifications from the IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors, including the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and the Certification in Control Self Assessment (CCSA). In 2012, Marco Truss became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a degree in Accounting and Finance.
