Rory Shaffer

Rory Shaffer is a seasoned professional in global metal procurement with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as the Global Metals Procurement Manager at Novelis since April 2011, Rory oversees the strategic sourcing and supplier management of $1.25 billion in third-party semi-finished metal inputs for Novelis's North American production system. Prior experience includes a strategic sourcing leadership role at Calphalon, where sourcing focused on aluminum, ceramic, and cast iron cookware, as well as electrical kitchen appliances. Rory has also held positions as Strategic Sourcing Manager at Home Depot and Senior Commodity Manager at Siemens E&A. Rory holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina State University, earned from 1996 to 2000.
