Jose Almodovar

Jose Almodovar has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Jose worked at Noven Pharmaceuticals from 2017 until the present, starting as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance and then progressing to Executive Director - Plant Manager. In September 2022, they took on the role of Chief Operations and Quality Officer. Prior to Noven Pharmaceuticals, they were employed by HeartWare Inc as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance from 2015 to 2021. Before that, they worked at Baxter International Inc. for several years, holding positions such as Senior Director of Quality Systems and Senior Director of Quality Plant Operations. Jose began their career at Boston Scientific as the Director of Quality in 2006.

Jose Almodovar obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Puerto Rico, where they attended from 1982 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, they have recently obtained certifications in "Leading with Emotional Intelligence" and "Be the Manager People Won't Leave" from LinkedIn, in June and August 2023 respectively.
