James Matthews

James Matthews is a seasoned mechanical project engineer with a strong background in HVAC equipment design for the offshore oil and gas industry. Since joining Novenco Marine & Offshore in February 2014, James has been instrumental in projects such as the design of the largest air handling unit ever delivered by Novenco to Statoil's Mariner field in the North Sea. Prior to this role, James served as Discipline Lead for Manufacturing and Product Development at GBM Minerals Engineering Consultants Ltd, where responsibilities included various mining-related work packages. Additional experience includes a position at Dobbie Engineers LTD, focusing on high temperature and pressure piping design and associated engineering tasks. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
