Miha Zakotnik

Miha Zakotnik serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Noveon Magnetics Inc. since June 2012, specializing in the research and development of magnetic materials, automation, and manufacturing line design. Previously held positions include Chief Operations Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Beijing University of Technology, where research focused on Rare Earth Magnetic Materials. Prior experience includes roles as a leading scientist and researcher at Yantai Shougang Magnetic Materials Inc., the University of Delaware, the University of Birmingham, and the Institute Josef Stefan, contributing to various advancements in materials science and rare earth projects. Miha Zakotnik holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Birmingham and has been involved in the management of intellectual property portfolios and consulting on rare earth separations.
