Steve Vento

Steve Vento has extensive work experience in various roles in the software development industry.

Steve started their career at Omnigo, formerly known as Competitive Edge Software, Inc., where they worked from December 2003 to August 2022. Steve held multiple positions in this company, including Technical Support Lead/Graphic and Web Designer, Technical Support Manager, and Software Development Manager and Agile Product Owner.

As a Technical Support Lead/Graphic and Web Designer, Steve was responsible for providing technical support to customers and designing marketing assets. Steve played a crucial role in establishing the company's customer service standards and rebranding efforts.

Later, Steve transitioned into the role of Technical Support Manager, where they managed the client support operations and led a team of technical resources. Steve maintained high customer satisfaction levels and achieved above 95% renewal rates.

Finally, Steve became the Software Development Manager and Agile Product Owner, overseeing product development operations for the MKE product lines. Steve managed a team of Software Developers, DevOps Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Business Analysts. Steve also established discovery processes, managed product backlogs, and created forecasting mechanisms.

After leaving Omnigo, Steve joined GenoPalate as a Product Owner from August 2022 to May 2023. In this role, they were responsible for product ideation, managing product backlogs, and establishing the product roadmap.

Currently, Steve is working at Novir as a Product Owner, starting in May 2023.

Steve Vento attended Gateway Technical College, where they studied Web Software Development. The start and end years of their education at Gateway Technical College are not provided. In addition to their formal education, Steve obtained several certifications. In November 2014, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance. In March 2015, they also obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the same organization.
