Marc-André Dufresne

Marc-André Dufresne has been working in the tech industry since 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at MobileXpert as a Phone Technician, Developer, and Co-Founder. During this time, they developed websites and applications for the company and repaired/replaced parts of mobile devices. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at Evolio as a Backend Python Developer. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Ormuco Inc. as a Backend Tech Lead and Backend Python Developer. In this role, they designed architecture for software solutions and coordinated with Tech Leads. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Element AI as an AI Developer - DevOps. During this time, they designed and built an authentication framework, developed and open-sourced a configuration library, and designed and implemented full CI/CD pipelines. Finally, they are currently employed at novisto as a Lead Cloud Developer.

Marc-André Dufresne received a DEC in Computer Science from Cegep de Chicoutimi from 2009 to 2012. Marc-André then attended UQAC from 2011 to 2014, graduating with a Bac in Video Game Development. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning.
