Pedro Martins

Pedro Martins possesses extensive experience in IT strategy and data governance, currently serving in various leadership roles at NOVO BANCO since August 2008, where responsibilities have included developing IT architecture and overseeing the Group’s Data Governance Program. In addition, Pedro has contributed to the data science community as Vice President of the Data Science Portuguese Association since 2018 and has authored works through Grupo LIDEL. Prior to these roles, Pedro co-founded Hitachi Vantara in Portugal, managed consulting projects at Deloitte for notable clients, and served as a Teaching Assistant in Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Instituto Superior Técnico and an Executive Master in Information Systems Governance and Management from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
