Sharon Perez

Sharon Perez is a highly experienced professional in the field of medical safety and pharmacovigilance, currently serving as Vice President of Global Medical Safety at Novocure since November 2012, following a tenure as Director in the same department. Prior experience includes Associate Director of Global Drug Safety Medicine at EMD Serono and various roles at Genzyme, including Senior Associate and Staff Scientist in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacology & Toxicology. Sharon began the career as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore and a BS in Biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
