Angela Kao Mba

Angela Kao has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on leadership roles. Angela'smost recent position was as the Human Resources Director at Novogene America, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Human Resources Manager at Novogene America from March 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Novogene America, Angela worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at Amazon from June 2020 to March 2021. Angela also held the role of Human Resources Director at Child & Family, a non-profit organization providing social services, from June 2018 to June 2020. Angela gained experience as a Human Resources Business Partner at YMCA of Greater Providence from September 2016 to June 2018.

Earlier in their career, Angela worked as a Human Resources Representative at McGard from September 2015 to May 2016. Angela also had a summer associate position at Winjo Enterprise in 2015, where they focused on talent acquisition and HR responsibilities, gaining valuable experience in China's labor and staffing practices. Winjo Enterprise is an ISO-certified manufacturer that produces parts for various well-known brands such as FIFA World Cup, Olympics, Disney, LVMH, Chanel, Coach, Michael Kors, BMW, and Nike.

Angela Kao holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) from UCLA Anderson School of Management, which they completed in 2019. Angela earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from UC San Diego. Angela also participated in a Semester Abroad program at the University of Westminster in London, United Kingdom, where their main focus was Organizational Psychology.

In addition to their degrees, Angela obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in January 2021. Angela also holds an HR Management Certificate - Generalist from UC San Diego Extension and completed the OSHA 10 hours Safety Training - General Industry from the OSHA Safety Training Institute.
