Emily Webber has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Emily currently works at Novogene America as a Project Coordinator II, managing genomic sequencing projects and training project coordinators. Prior to this, Emily held the role of Project Coordinator at Novogene America. Additionally, they served as the UC Davis Chapter Chair & Statewide Leader for California Public Interest Research Group Students (CALPIRG Students), where they organized recruitment drives and led initiatives for renewable energy. Emily also gained international experience as an International Medical Transport Intern at Misericordia di Firenze in Florence, Italy, assisting in transporting disabled individuals and immersing herself in the Italian language. Emily worked as an Energy Specialist at Rising Sun Center for Opportunity, providing energy audits and sustainability advice to households in Sonoma County. Furthermore, Emily was a Research Intern at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, conducting experiments and analyzing data related to aging. Emily started their professional journey as an Environmental Intern at Sonoma Ecology Center, gaining hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture and community outreach.
