Jennifer Le Roy, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in technology and research, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Novoloop since January 2019. At Novoloop, a tech startup focused on producing low CO2e consumer products from plastic waste, Jennifer oversees technology, product and process development, as well as intellectual property and funding initiatives. Previously, Jennifer held the position of Director of Research and Development, where a successful company pivot led to the creation of polymers for consumer brands, alongside securing new patents on polyethylene recycling technology. Additionally, Jennifer serves on the advisory board at the University of Oxford and has contributed to academia as a research fellow, postdoctoral research scientist, and teaching assistant. Jennifer holds an ALM in Management from Harvard Extension School, a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Trent University.
