Jennifer Fung

Jennifer Fung is a highly experienced research and development manager with a strong background in fermentation and microbiology. Currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at Novonesis since November 2024, Jennifer has previously held senior roles at MycoWorks and Perfect Day, including Senior Fermentation Scientist and Head of Fermentation, respectively. Jennifer's expertise encompasses upstream process development for cellulosic enzymes at Xyleco, Inc. and significant contributions to fermentation process development at Bolt Threads. Additionally, Jennifer's academic credentials include a PhD in Microbiology from Cornell University and a BS in Microbiology from UC San Diego.
