Frank van Den Hurk Ciss

Frank van den Hurk CISM CISSP is an accomplished professional in the cybersecurity domain, currently serving as the Product Line Manager for Cybersecurity Naval at Thales since October 2021, where the focus is on integrating cybersecurity into mission-critical products and services. Previously, Frank held the role of Manager Cyber Engineering at Thales, emphasizing the importance of cybersecurity in advanced radar and combat management systems. Frank also works as a Researcher/Troubleshooter at NovoServe B.V. and has extensive experience as Manager R&D at Tesorion, where managed cybersecurity services were provided. As the founder and CEO of Quarantinenet BV, Frank addressed widespread computer virus issues. Additionally, Frank founded Van den Hurk Automatiseringsdiensten en Advies to enhance ICT services at the university level. Career beginnings included roles as a Researcher for the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration and Conclusion, with an early start as a Network Administrator at Geac Benelux.
