Shamel Elsherei

Shamel Elsherei is an experienced operations professional with a strong background in the energy and logistics sectors. Currently serving as Operations Manager for East Africa at Novum Energy since October 2022, Shamel previously held senior operator roles at GEMCORP and CZARNIKOW GROUP LIMITED. Prior experience includes significant positions at Cargill as Senior Trade Execution Coordinator, Hutchison Port Holdings as Superintendent (Shift Manager), and a financial advisory role at Commercial International Life Insurance. Shamel holds a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Business with Logistics from the University of Plymouth, obtained from 1999 to 2003.
