Sergio Bellver Cardete

Associate Director, Regional Key Accounts EMEA at Novus International, Inc.

Sergio Bellver Cardete has extensive work experience in the agricultural industry with a focus on sales and marketing. Sergio started their career at Novus in 1994 as a Technical Service Manager for South Europe, where they provided technical support and collaborated with customers' nutrition and R&D departments. In 1996, they became the Sales Manager for Spain and Africa, managing sales and marketing activities in those regions and expanding into new markets such as Nigeria, Morocco, and Kenya.

In 2010, Sergio moved into a new role as the Novus Aquaculture Market Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, taking full responsibility for sales, marketing, and P&L. Sergio then progressed to the position of Regional Manager for Southwest Europe and Aqua Marketing in 2013, where they managed livestock sales, established strategic partnerships, and oversaw aquaculture marketing.

From 2014 to 2020, Sergio served as the Regional Manager for South Europe, expanding their geographical responsibilities to include France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Israel, Slovenia, Albania, Croatia, Serbia, and Cyprus. Sergio managed the direct sales teams and channeling partners and was accountable for achieving ambitious corporate goals in these strategic markets.

In 2020, Sergio transitioned into the role of Associate Director of Marketing for EMEA at Novus International, Inc., and in 2021, they took on the position of Associate Director of Regional Key Accounts for the same region. In these roles, they continue to contribute their expertise in marketing and key account management.

Sergio Bellver Cardete has a diverse education history. In 2009, they attended ESIC Business & Marketing School and obtained a degree in Sales Marketing. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Science degree in animal nutrition and biochemistry at Cornell University. Earlier, from 1982 to 1988, they attended Facultad Veterinaria de Zaragoza and earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, specializing in Veterinary Sciences/Veterinary Clinical Sciences. Lastly, from 1968 to 1981, they completed their Baccalauréat degree in Biology at Lycée Français.
