Lu Zhang has worked in the field of biomedical engineering since 2008. In 2008, Lu began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Institute of Genetics, Fudan University. In 2010, Lu became a Senior Graduate Assistant at the Engineering Research Center (ENRC) at the University of Arkansas, working in Dr. Kaiming Ye's lab on projects involving cell and molecular biology, gene cloning, protein expression, and animal vaccination. In 2013, Lu became a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arkansas. In 2014, Lu began working at NOWDiagnostics | NOWDx as a Scientist, Product Development and a Scientist, Quality Control, and then as a Project Lead Scientist, Product Development. That same year, Lu also worked as an Intern, R&D and Contract Manufacturing at ImmunoVision.
Lu Zhang completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Sciences from Fudan University in 2010. Lu then went on to obtain their Master of Science (MS) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Arkansas in 2013.
