Maximiliano Casal is the co-founder of nowports, a company that provides technology solutions for the agroindustry. Prior to nowports, Maximiliano was the team leader and senior iOS developer at Moove-it, a startup that used innovative technologies to develop a product that allowed wine growers to take control of their vineyards. Maximiliano was also the co-founder and CTO of Croway, another startup that provided technology solutions for the agroindustry. Maximiliano has also worked as an iOS developer at Globant and as a .Net software developer at Greycon.
Maximiliano Casal attended Y Combinator's W2019 batch as part of their accelerator program. Maximiliano then went on to complete an executive program in business administration and management at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. After that, they participated in Latitud's Angel Fellowship program focused on finance. Casal also completed an executive program in finance at Babson College. Most recently, they were part of Y Combinator's Growth S2020 program. Maximiliano holds a bachelor's degree in software engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay and is also an iOS developer from Mobilemakers Academy.
