Jim Diecks has over 17 years of work experience in the technical sales and engineering field. Jim is currently employed at Nozomi Networks as a Staff Sales Engineer, where they are responsible for technical relationships and sales support across multiple industry verticals. Prior to their current role, Jim worked at Capgemini as the Director of Cyber Security Center of Excellence and also held the position of Senior Security Sales Engineer. Jim was responsible for establishing technical relationships and providing sales support, as well as identifying customer requirements and challenges. Before Capgemini, they worked at Leidos as a Senior Security Sales Engineer, where they performed similar duties. Jim also has experience working at Lockheed Martin as a Sales Engineer and Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for technical relationships, sales support, and managing individuals. Their earlier work experience includes a role as an Acudose-Rx Help Desk Analyst at McKesson Automation, where they provided technical support and troubleshooting to customers. Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated a strong ability to establish rapport with customers, deliver product demonstrations, and provide pre-sales technical support.
Jim Diecks completed their education in two institutions. Jim first attended Villanova University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Computer Engineering. The field of study for this degree is not specified. Later, from 2004 to 2006, Jim pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University.
In addition to their formal education, Jim also acquired several certifications. In August 2009, they obtained the CISSP certification from ISC2. In April 2019, they obtained the GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) certification from GIAC Certifications. The most recent certification Jim obtained is the Nozomi Networks Certified Engineer certification from MARINO & ASSOC., PC in July 2021.
