Ivan Teahulos

Ivan Teahulos has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ivan began their career as a Laboratory Technician Intern at Labopat in 2015, where they gained hands-on experience in a laboratory setting. In 2017, Ivan worked as a Pharmaceutical Implementation Analyst at Laboratorio de Especialidades Inmunológicas, where they collaborated with a team to implement analytical methods for pharmaceutical clients and ensured compliance with industry standards.

In 2018, Ivan worked as an Assistant to the Project Manager at Fermaca, where they provided support to the project management team. In 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant (Co-Op) at the National Research Council Canada, gaining valuable research experience.

Ivan joined McGill University in 2020 as a Research Technician, where they contributed to research projects and supported the overall operations of the laboratory.

Currently, Ivan is employed at Nomic Bio, starting as an Assay Analyst in 2021 and progressing to the role of Laboratory Operations Associate in 2022. As the Technical Operations Supervisor at Nomic Bio, Ivan oversees the technical operations within the company.

Throughout their career, Ivan has demonstrated skills in attention to detail, critical thinking, record keeping, teamwork, adaptability, and meeting deadlines.

Ivan Teahulos completed their Master of Science in Applied Biotechnology from McGill University in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2012 to 2017. In 2016, Ivan participated in a study abroad program at The University of Texas at San Antonio, focusing on Biology/Biological Sciences. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including McGill Personal Finance Essentials in December 2020, Introduction to Biosafety in October 2018, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (W.H.M.I.S.) 2015 in September 2018, all from McGill University.
