Badri Munipalla

Badri Munipalla currently serves as Vice President of NPR Distribution at NPR since January 2009, with responsibilities encompassing the delivery of content to interconnected public radio stations, state and regional networks, and commercial customers, alongside overseeing technical architecture and software development. Previously, Badri occupied roles including Director of Software Development, where leadership involved the maintenance of software for the Public Radio Satellite System®, and earlier positions as Sr. Manager - Software Development and Lead Software Engineer. Prior experience includes a tenure at ObjectWin Technology from July 2003 to December 2008 as a Senior Java Consultant, delivering software solutions for clients such as GE Capital, McKesson, and Fannie Mae. Additional background includes a role as Software Engineer at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, focusing on HIPAA/FERPA-compliant applications. Badri holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor's degree from Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
