Carrie Feibel is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in health reporting and editing. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at NPR since October 2018, Carrie leads a nonprofit journalism collaboration focused on American health care, producing award-winning national stories and strengthening local health reporting networks. As a board member of the Association of Health Care Journalists since July 2018, Carrie also contributed to KQED as Health Editor from November 2016 to October 2018, managing health coverage and reporting. Previous roles include Health and Science Reporter at Houston Public Media, Senior Reporter at The Houston Chronicle, and various reporting positions at The Record and Herald News. A graduate of Columbia University with a Master’s in Journalism and holding a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, Carrie brings a strong educational background to their journalistic endeavors.
