Kakande Rogers

Kakande Rogers is an experienced professional specializing in solar system design and installation, actively serving as a Solar System Designer and Installer since July 2020. Additionally, Kakande has provided energy audits to assist clients in reducing energy costs. Currently engaged with NRECA International as a Geographic Information System Assistant and Project Design Engineer, responsibilities include designing medium voltage lines for Uganda's National Electrification Plan and contributing to the Electrification Master Plan for various power distribution operators. Previously, Kakande worked as a Distribution Specialist at NRECA (Uganda) and gained early experience in sales and electrical maintenance through roles at Timothy and Sons General Hardware and Rwenzori Bottling Company Limited. Kakande holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University, complemented by prior education in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and technical drawing.
