Matthew Darnell has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of IT. Matthew started their career as the IT Director at IFE Services Ltd, where they implemented changes to improve the IT support function and supported global growth. Matthew then moved on to become the Head of IT at TFC Homeloans, where they ensured the company's IT infrastructure was secure and managed multiple teams. Matthew went on to become the IT Director at JST Lawyers, where they delivered on budget and on time and achieved recommendations from high street lenders. Matthew then joined Cegedim Rx as the Head of IT, overseeing the operation of UK Group IT, before transitioning to the role of Head of IT - UK Group IT at Cegedim. Currently, Matthew Darnell is the Chief Information Technology Officer at NRG Riverside, leading IT strategic roadmaps and actively participating in the transformation of the company to a digital landscape.

Matthew Darnell attended Staffordshire University from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in IT and Business.
