Francisca Pretorius

Francisca Pretorius is an accomplished legal and organizational design consultant with extensive experience in military justice reform and access to justice initiatives across Commonwealth countries. Currently serving as an Advisor and Consultant for The Commonwealth and as an Organizational Design Consultant and Director of Operations at nRhythm, Francisca previously held leadership roles including Head of the Office of Civil and Criminal Justice Reform at The Commonwealth Secretariat. With a strong background in legal consulting, Francisca has worked with mission-driven organizations and cooperatives, and has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at various universities. Additionally, Francisca co-founded FoodWorks CO, aimed at empowering single mothers through employment opportunities. Educational credentials include an MBA focused on Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise, an LLM in International Trade Law, and several certifications in legal tech, blockchain, and English teaching. Francisca’s diverse experience is further enriched by a passion for music as a violinist with several renowned orchestras.
