Timur Kurt

Timur Kurt has a diverse work experience in various companies and industries. Timur currently serves as the Head of Business Unit Türkiye & MENA at NRW.Global Business, where they are responsible for investment projects and settlement in North Rhine-Westphalia as well as the development of foreign markets. Prior to this, Timur worked as a Project Coordinator at NRW.Global Business, coordinating projects in Türkiye, Russia, CAC, and MENA regions.

Before joining NRW.Global Business, Timur was a Project Manager at INPLAN GmbH, where they played a key role in the digitization of operational business processes for customers in the port management and terminal operating sector. Timur also worked as a Business Development Manager at TMS Engineering GmbH, specializing in energy, chemical/petrochemical, and steel projects in Turkey, Malaysia, and Azerbaijan.

Timur's earlier experience includes working as a Market Research Analyst at Siemens Mobility, a leading provider of transport solutions. Timur also gained experience in commercial project management at Siemens Energy and served as a Market Research Assistant at PTT Corporation, a material supplier to the Oil and Gas industry in Malaysia.

Timur Kurt completed their Bachelor's degree in International Business & Social Sciences at Rhine-Waal University. Timur is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration - Asian Management at Hochschule Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
