Michael Gendy

Michael Gendy has a diverse work experience in various procurement roles. Michael started their career in 2000 as a Business Analyst at AGL Energy and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2008, they worked at Nestle S.A. in roles such as Strategic Sourcing Analyst and Strategic Sourcing Manager. In 2008, Gendy joined McDonald's Corporation as a Procurement Manager and later took on roles as National Supply Chain Manager and Head of Procurement. Since 2018, Gendy has been working at NSW Health as the Chief Procurement Officer.

Michael Gendy completed an Executive Fellows Program at ANZSOG - The Australia and New Zealand School of Government in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering - Honours from UNSW, which they completed between 1997 and 2000.
