Maria Anassutzi received their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Sapienza Università di Roma in 1988, specializing in Law. Maria then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Intellectual Property, EU law, Competition law, and International Trade from the University of Kent between 1990 and 1991. In 2009, Maria obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration from the University of Oxford. Additionally, they have certifications as an ADR Accredited Mediator from ADR Group and as a Member of the Law Society of England and Wales from LAW SOCIETY.
