Kevin B. Hoppe

Mr. Hoppe joined NTH in June 1983 as a Staff Engineer, was appointed Chief Financial Officer in November 1998 and was named President and Chief Executive Officer in March 2012. Kevin has served on the Board of Directors since the mid 1990’s, holding the Chairman of the Board position from April 2006 through March 2012, and is currently serving in that role, effective January 2021.

Affiliated with ASFE, now GBA, for more than 30 years, Kevin has been involved in several committees, participated as a board member (from 1996 to 2001), was elected ASFE President in 2000, and named to the ASFE Council of Fellows in 2005. He chaired this committee from 2008 to 2011 and is currently an active member of the Council. Kevin has participated as both a team member and captain of ASFE Peer Reviews for more than 20 years; and is a past Chair of ASFE’s Peer Review committee. Currently he is a member of Terra Insurance Company, RRG Board of Directors. A position he has held since 2008. He has also chaired committees for ACEC, ASCE and SMPS.

Kevin received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1981 and 1983, respectively; and his Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University in 1995. He is a licensed professional engineer, registered in Michigan.
