Richard Wessels

Richard Wessels has extensive experience in finance and treasury management. Richard currently holds the position of VP Treasury & Corporate Services at FinThrive since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as Treasurer and VP Finance at Uber Freight from July 2018 to December 2022. From June 2016 to June 2018, Richard worked as the VP and Business Unit CFO at Sabre Airline Solutions. Richard also served as the Interim CFO at Sabre Asia Pacific from March 2015 to June 2016. Richard's earlier roles include VP & Controller at Travelocity from November 2011 to March 2015, and various positions at Sabre Holdings including VP Finance - Shared Services, Director of Treasury and Risk Management, and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Richard began their career as a Senior Financial Analyst at IBM Global Services in 1998 and later worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at GE Capital. Richard's first role was as a Staff Accountant at Affiliated Computer Services, where they started in 1992.

Richard Wessels obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Emory University's Goizueta Business School from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus in Finance from Saint Louis University, attending from 1987 to 1991. Additionally, Richard holds the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Texas.
