Billie VanDuyne has extensive experience in the electrical field, currently serving as a Distribution Operations Instructor and Distribution Dispatcher at ComEd since November 2013, where responsibilities include dispatching first responders to electrical outages and applying troubleshooting skills. Billie has also been an NFPA 70 E instructor with National Technology Transfer since March 2011 and holds the title of Licensed Journeyman Wireman with IBEW Local 176, where involvement spans from July 1996 to the present. Additional teaching roles have included creating educational materials and instructing on electrical theory, National Electrical Code, and OSHA courses. Prior experience includes a position as a Field Safety Advisor at Code Red Safety and an apprenticeship with NECA/IBEW JATC. Billie holds multiple degrees, including AAS in Electrical Construction Technology from Illinois Valley Community College and qualifications as a Master Instructor from the National Training Institute.
