Simon Ong

Simon Ong serves as the Chief Human Resource Officer at NTUC First Campus since June 2022, bringing extensive experience in talent acquisition, talent management, and learning and development. Prior roles include Head of HR at FairPrice Group and Regional Organisational Development Director for Southeast Asia and Oceania at Samsung Electronics. Simon's previous positions also encompass Regional Head of Learning & Talent Management at Bridgestone Asia Pacific, Regional Head of Training & Competence Development at KONE Pte Ltd, and HR Business Partner at Maersk Line. A former Military Officer with the Ministry of Defence of Singapore, responsibilities included Deputy Head of HR. Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management and Organisational Psychology (Distinction) from Edinburgh Napier University, a Specialist Diploma in Learning Sciences from Nanyang Technological University, and an Executive Master of Science in Human Resources Management and Global Leadership from The City University of New York.
