Michael Tan

Michael Tan currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer at NTUC LearningHub since January 2023, overseeing operations, capacity planning, class scheduling, procurement, and service excellence to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. Previously, Michael held key roles at SP Group from February 2015 to December 2022, including Director of Regulatory Compliance and Head of Group Productivity, focusing on monitoring KPIs, stakeholder engagement, and cost improvement projects. Michael's expertise in business transformations and operational excellence was further developed through a position as Lean Consultant and Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore from February 2013 to January 2015. Michael has extensive experience in the logistics and supply chain sector, with leadership roles at CEVA Logistics and Flextronics, where responsibilities included global operations development, strategic pricing, and process improvements. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA and a Master’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
