Jamie Coffin, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare and life sciences industry.

Jamie is the current Chief Executive Officer of Nature's Toolbox, Inc. (NTx), a biomanufacturing company focused on democratizing the production of RNA and proteins for global access to vaccines and therapeutics. In this role, they have successfully implemented a proprietary, scalable, and cost-effective system for RNA production.

Prior to NTx, Jamie served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Sema4, a health information company that aims to improve disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention through advanced data analysis. During their tenure, they facilitated seamless engagement between physicians and consumers with the digital data ecosystem.

Jamie also held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at SourceMed, a leading provider of software and revenue cycle solutions in the ambulatory surgical and physical therapy space. Jamie oversaw all aspects of corporate operations and business development.

Jamie also made notable contributions to IBM, where they served as the Worldwide Vice President of IBM Healthcare and Life Sciences, establishing a new division and leading global sales strategies. Jamie also held various leadership positions in the company's life sciences, academic research, and computational chemistry divisions.

Before joining IBM, Jamie worked at Biosym Technologies and Accelrys in global sales support and management roles.

Jamie Coffin, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Louisiana Tech University, completing their studies from 1981 to 1985. They then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas between 1985 and 1989. During their doctoral studies, Coffin also had the opportunity to be a Clare Hall Fulbright College Dissertation Fellow at the University of Cambridge in 1988-1989.
