Jamie Coffin, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Louisiana Tech University, completing their studies from 1981 to 1985. They then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas between 1985 and 1989. During their doctoral studies, Coffin also had the opportunity to be a Clare Hall Fulbright College Dissertation Fellow at the University of Cambridge in 1988-1989.
