Jeroen van Barneveld

Jeroen van Barneveld is an experienced sports journalist with a robust background in various media roles. Currently serving as a sport editor and reporter at NU.nl since March 2019, Jeroen also operates as a freelance sports editor. Previous positions include serving as a freelance sports reporter for AD NieuwsMedia, covering top field hockey players in the Utrecht region, and fulfilling various editorial roles at G.V.V.V., a top amateur soccer club. Jeroen's early career included internships at De Volkskrant and ELF Voetbal Magazine, where significant contributions were made to both print and digital platforms. Jeroen holds a degree from Christelijke Hogeschool Ede and completed secondary education at Christelijk Lyceum Veenendaal.
