Hunter Shaw

Hunter Shaw, Ph.D., is a professional with extensive experience in drug discovery and scientific research. Currently serving as a Business Development Liaison and Scientist at NuChem Sciences since February 2020, Hunter previously held a position as Senior Scientist I at Amplia PharmaTek Inc. for a brief period in early 2020. From September 2013 to December 2019, Hunter conducted doctoral research in the Yong Rao Lab at the Centre for Research in Neuroscience at McGill University Health Centre, focusing on synaptic adhesion molecules. Additionally, Hunter managed Kim's Fresh Fruit from August 2009 to August 2019, overseeing logistics and staff training for the family business. Hunter also contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant at McGill University. Hunter obtained a PhD in Biology in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology in 2013, both from McGill University.
