Layne Nicholls P.e.

Layne Nicholls, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in process and project management within the nuclear and chemical industries. Presently serving as the Downblend Process Engineering Unit Manager at Babcock & Wilcox and Nuclear Fuel Services since July 2016, Layne previously held positions including Project/Process Engineer at Eastman Chemical Company, Project Engineer at Nuclear Fuel Services, and Process Engineer at Kimberly-Clark. Layne's career began in the U.S. Navy, where service as a Machinist Mate, 2nd Class occurred from December 1991 to December 1997. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University, and a certification in Nuclear Power Operations from the Naval Nuclear Engineering Program.
