Alina Arzamassky serves as the Co-Managing Director for Nucleate in the Bay Area, where responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives to accelerate biotech entrepreneurship and fostering collaborations among investors, industry leaders, and academic institutions. Concurrently, Alina is a PhD graduate student at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on molecular docking computations for drug development. Previous experience includes a research assistant position at Caltech's Materials and Process Simulation Center, an assistant project manager role at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, an intern position at the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and mathematics instruction at the Moscow Chemical Lyceum. Alina holds a Bachelor of Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and both a Master of Science and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Molecular Cellular and Computational Biophysics at the University of California, San Francisco.
