Joe Bertelsen

Joe Bertelsen currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Nuclera since March 2024. Prior to this role, Joe held the position of Director of Commercialization/The Antibody Initiative at the Institute for Protein Innovation from June 2021 to February 2024. Joe's extensive experience includes serving as Senior Vice President-Business Unit Manager and Senior Vice President-Global Sales and Business Development at Diagenode from July 2016 to May 2021, where the company was later sold to Hologic. Additionally, Joe was with Abcam as US Director of Sales from January 2014 to July 2016, and worked at Covance from June 2006 to January 2014 in various roles, including Director of Sales, International Distribution and Channel Partners. Joe began a career at Signet Laboratories, where Joe functioned as Neuroscience Sales and Product Manager until its acquisition by Covance in 2006. Joe Bertelsen holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University.
